"Except for one who snatches a snatching, and he is pursued by," meaning: followed by, "a piercing flame," which is luminous. He returned to the beginning of the discourse: "And as a protection against every rebellious devil. They cannot listen to the Highest Assembly."

Ibn Abbas said: If you see the star that has been thrown and then disappears, it burns what it hits but does not kill.

﴿إِلا مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ﴾ أَي: لحقه ﴿شهَاب ثاقب﴾ مضيء، رَجَعَ إِلَى أول الْكَلَام ﴿وَحِفْظًا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَارِدٍ لَا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى الْمَلإِ الأَعْلَى﴾.
﴿إِلَّا من خطف الْخَطفَة﴾ يَعْنِي: اسْتمع الاستماعة.
قَالَ ابْن عَبَّاس: إِذا رَأَيْتُمْ الْكَوْكَب قد رُمِيَ بِهِ فتوارى؛ فَإِنَّهُ يَحْرق مَا أصَاب وَلَا يقتل.
