[And in what He disperses]—meaning: He creates.
Muhammad said: Regarding 'yabuththu' (He disperses), there are two linguistic usages. You say: 'bathat-tuka ma fi nafsi' (I have disclosed to you what is in my soul) and 'abthathu-ka', meaning: I have spread it out for you.
[Signs for a people who are certain].
Muhammad said: Whoever recites 'ayatun' (signs) in the nominative case (raf'), it is by way of exception (isti'na'), and the meaning is: 'And in your creation there are signs'.
