Allah nullifies their deeds in the Hereafter. [And neither will what they have taken besides Allah as allies]—meaning: deities; i.e., the idols they worshipped will not avail them anything.
يبطل الله أَعْمَالهم فِي الْآخِرَة ﴿وَلا مَا اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ الله أَوْلِيَاء﴾ آلِهَة؛ يَعْنِي: الْأَوْثَان الَّتِي عبدوها لَا تغني عَنْهُم شَيْئا.
