His statement: [This]—meaning: the Qur'an—[is guidance] by which they are guided.
His statement: [For them is a painful punishment from Rajaz]—i.e., painful.
Tafsir of Surah Al-Jathiyah from verse 12 to verse 13.
[And that you may seek of His bounty]—meaning: seeking trade during travel. [And that you may give thanks] (so that you may give thanks)—i.e., that you may believe.
قَوْله: ﴿هَذَا﴾ يَعْنِي: الْقُرْآن ﴿هدى﴾ يَهْتَدُونَ بِهِ.
قَوْله: ﴿لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ من رجز أَلِيم﴾ أَي: موجع.
