and to refrain from accusing those who say 'there is no god but Allah' of disbelief due to a sin, and that the divine decrees, both the good and the evil of them, are from Allah.
{That, and if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them} without fighting, {but that He may test} - that is, to put to trial - {some of you by others}.
{And those who are killed in the cause of Allah, never will He waste their deeds} (fol. 327), meaning Allah will not nullify them, for if they did good, He will forgive them.
وَالْكَفُّ عَنْ أَهْلِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ أَنْ تُكَفِّرُوهُمْ بِذَنْبٍ، وَالْمَقَادِيرُ خَيْرُهَا وَشَرُّهَا مِنَ اللَّهِ ".
﴿ذَلِكَ وَلَوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ لانْتَصَرَ مِنْهُم﴾ بِغَيْر قتال ﴿وَلَكِن لِّيَبْلُوَا﴾ يَبْتَلِي ﴿بَعْضَكُم بِبَعْضٍ﴾.
﴿وَالَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَلَنْ يُضِلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ﴾ (ل ٣٢٧) لن يحبطها اللَّه فَإِن أَحْسنُوا غفر لَهُم
