{And among them are those who listen to you}—meaning: the hypocrites—{until, when they depart from your presence, they say to those who have been given knowledge, "What was it that he said just now?"} They used to come to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and listen to his speech without expectation of reward and without comprehending his speech. When they departed from his presence, they would say to Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, "What did Muhammad say just now?" They did not comprehend what the Prophet said.

Muhammad said: {just now}—its meaning is: this hour.

Allah said to the Prophet: {Those are the ones upon whose hearts Allah has set a seal}.
