{Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an, or are there locks upon their hearts?} Meaning: That upon their hearts are their locks; and this is the sealing (al-tab').
Interpretation of Surah Muhammad from verse 25 to verse 29.
﴿أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ أَمْ عَلَى قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَا﴾ أَي: أَن على قُلُوبهم أقفالها؛ وَهُوَ الطَّبْع.
