"O you who have disbelieved, make no excuses today"—this is said to them on the Day of Resurrection—"You are only being recompensed for what you used to do" in the world.
﴿يَا أَيهَا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا الْيَوْمَ﴾ وَهَذَا يُقَالُ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ﴿إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴾ فِي الدُّنْيَا.
