"And the angels"—meaning all the angels—"will be on its sides" (69:17), meaning upon the edges of the heaven, i.e., its extremities.

Muhammad said: The "raja" (side) of anything is its flank, written with a shortened alif. The dual form is "rajawan" and the plural is "arja'."
