تفسير القرآن العزيز لابن أبي زمنين
مجلد 5 · صفحة 125

الترجمة · EN

He steps forward, and when he draws near, a white book is brought forth for him with white script. Inside it are his bad deeds, and on its outside are his good deeds. He begins with the bad deeds and reads them, becoming apprehensive as his color changes. When he reaches the end of the book, he finds written in it: "These are your bad deeds, which have been forgiven for you," so he rejoices. Then he turns his book over and reads his good deeds, increasing in nothing but joy, until he reaches the end of the book and finds written in it: "These are your good deeds, and they have been multiplied for you." His face then turns bright, a crown is brought and placed upon his head, he is clothed in two garments, every joint of his is adorned, and he is made sixty cubits tall, which is the stature of Adam. It is said to him: "Go to your companions and give them glad tidings, and inform them that every person among them has the likes of this." As he turns away, he says: "Here, read my record," meaning: take it and read my record.
