He said: So he is magnified for the Fire, his eyes become blue, his face turns black, and he is clothed with garments of liquid pitch. It is said to him: "Go to your companions and inform them that every person among them has the likes of this." He departs, saying: "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record, and had not known what my account is. Oh, I wish it [i.e., death] had been the decisive one," desiring death.
قَالَ: فَيُعْظِمُ لِلنَّارِ وَتَزْرَقُّ عَيْنَاهُ ويَسْوَدّ وَجْهُهُ، ويُكسى سَرَابِيلَ الْقَطْرَانِ وَيُقَالُ لَهُ: انْطَلِقْ إِلَى أَصْحَابِكَ؛ فَأَخْبِرْهُمْ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ مِنْهُمْ مِثْلَ هَذَا. فَيَنْطَلِقُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: ﴿يَا لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَابِيَهْ وَلَمْ أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهْ يَا ليتها كَانَت القاضية﴾ يتَمَنَّى الْمَوْت
