"For the seeker and the deprived." According to the interpretation of al-Hasan: The seeker (al-sa'il) is the needy person who asks during the time of his need, while the deprived (al-mahrum) is the poor person who does not ask under any circumstance, and thus is deprived of being given out of asking as the seeker is given, though if he is given something, he accepts it.
