"And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth," meaning: He created you from the earth as a creation; He means: He created Adam.
Muhammad said: "Growth" is interpreted in its infinitive form based on the meaning, because the meaning of "He caused you to grow" is: He made you grow as a growth.
﴿وَاللَّهُ أَنْبَتَكُمْ مِنَ الأَرْضِ نَبَاتًا﴾ خَلَقَكُمْ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ خَلْقًا؛ يَعْنِي: خَلَقَ آدَمَ.
قَالَ محمدٌ: (نَبَاتًا) مَحْمُولٌ فِي الْمَصْدَرِ عَلَى الْمَعْنَى؛ لِأَن معنى (أنبتكم): جعلكُمْ تنبتون نباتًا.
