"Walaqad zayyanna al-sama'a al-dunya bimashabih" (And indeed We have adorned the lowest heaven with lamps), and they are the stars. "Waja'alnaha" (And We have made them), meaning: the stars, "rujuman lil-shayatin" (as missiles to drive away the devils), meaning: what is made from them as missiles. "Wa-a'tadna lahum" (And We have prepared for them), meaning: We have prepared for them, "adhab al-sa'ir" (the punishment of the blazing fire) in the Hereafter; meaning: for those among the devils who are pelted. ﴿وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ﴾ وَهِي الْكَوَاكِب ﴿وجعلناها﴾ يَعْنِي: الْكَوَاكِب ﴿رجوما للشياطين﴾ يَعْنِي: مَا جُعِلَ مِنْهَا رُجُومًا ﴿وأعتدنا لَهُم﴾ أعددنا لَهُم ﴿عَذَاب السعير﴾ فِي الْآخِرَةِ؛ يَعْنِي: لِلَّذِينَ يُرْجَمُونَ من الشَّيَاطِين. تَفْسِير سُورَة الْملك من الْآيَة (٦ - ١٢)
