تفسير القرآن العزيز لابن أبي زمنين
مجلد 5 · صفحة 371

الترجمة · EN

Muhammad said: [Al-ara'ik]—the singular of which is arikah—are the bridal chambers containing furnishings and beds. [Muttaqi'in] (reclining) is a circumstantial accusative (hal); the meaning is: He rewarded them with a Garden while they are in a state of reclining therein, and likewise [And its shade is near upon them].

His saying: [And its clusters of fruit will be lowered to be easily reached] means: its fruits have been made accessible to them; they reach them however they wish. Mujahid said: If he stands, it rises to his height, and if he sits, it hangs down to him so he may reach it, and if he reclines, it hangs down to him so he may reach it.

Muhammad said: The singular of [al-qutuf] (clusters of fruit) is qitf, and the meaning of [dhullilat] (lowered/made accessible) is that they have been brought near.
