(The Day the Spirit will stand). Al-Hasan's interpretation is: The spirit of everything will stand in its body. (And the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak), meaning they will not intercede, (except for him whom the Most Merciful has permitted and who has spoken what is correct), referring to in the worldly life: There is no deity but Allah.
﴿يَوْم يقوم الرّوح﴾ تَفْسِيرُ الْحَسَنِ: يَقُومُ رُوحُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ فِي جَسَدِهِ ﴿وَالْمَلائِكَةُ صَفًّا لَا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ﴾ لَا يَشْفَعُونَ ﴿إِلا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَن وَقَالَ صَوَابا﴾ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله.
