"In whatever form He willed, He assembled you." Mujahid's interpretation is: if He willed, He made you beautiful, and if He willed, He made you ugly, and if He willed, a male, and if He willed, a female.
﴿فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَا شَاءَ ركبك﴾ تَفْسِيرُ مُجَاهِدٍ: إِنْ شَاءَ حَسَنًا، وَإِنْ شَاءَ قَبِيحًا، وَإِنْ شَاءَ ذكرا، وَإِن شَاءَ أُنْثَى.
