Meaning: I will punish them in this world and the Hereafter.
Muhammad said: "And I am planning a plan," meaning: I will recompense them for their plotting, and this is the meaning of what Yahya held.
أَيْ: أُعَذِّبُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ.
قَالَ مُحَمَّد: ﴿وأكيد كيدا﴾ يَعْنِي: أُجَازِيهِمْ جَزَاءَ كَيْدِهِمْ، وَهُوَ مَعْنَى مَا ذَهَبَ إِلَيْهِ يَحْيَى.
