their sons, so they said, "We have grown old and our families have become large, so there is nothing left for the poor among us." Then they swore an oath to "cut it" (li-yasrimunnaha), meaning to harvest it at dawn (musbihin), that is, in the morning.
أَبْنَاؤُهُمْ، فَقَالُوا: كَبُرْنَا وَكَثُرَ عِيَالُنَا، فَلَيْسَ لِلْمَسَاكِينِ عِنْدَنَا شيءٌ فَتَقَاسَمُوا ﴿ليصرمنها﴾ ليجذُّنّها (١) ﴿مصبحين﴾ أَي: صبحًا
