"Faces, that Day, will be humbled" (al-khashi'ah), meaning: humiliated, that is: the faces of the people of the Hellfire.
﴿وُجُوه يَوْمئِذٍ خاشعة﴾ ذَلِيلَةٌ، يَعْنِي: وُجُوهَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ
