I have consumed and squandered it; so who is it that will hold me accountable?! This is according to the tafsir of Mujahid.
Muhammad said: "Lubada" (in abundance) is derived from "al-talbid" (piling up), as if some of it were upon the rest.
أَكَلْتُ وَأْتَلَفْتُ، فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُحَاسِبُنِي؟! فِي تَفْسِيرِ مُجَاهِدٍ.
قَالَ مُحَمَّد: (لبدا) هُوَ مِنَ التَّلْبِيدِ، كَأَنَّ بَعْضَهُ على بعض.
