He said: "And what can make you know what the Night of Decree is? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months." The interpretation of Ibn Abbas: "Worship during the Night of Decree is better than worship during a thousand months that do not correspond to the Night of Decree."
Yahya, on the authority of al-Mas'udi, from Muharib ibn Dithar or from al-Qasim ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Seek the Night of Decree in the last ten nights of Ramadan."
قَالَ: ﴿وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ ألف شهر﴾ تَفْسِيرُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: الْعَمَلُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ فِي أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ لَا تُوافِقُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ.
يَحْيَى: عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ أَوْ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ: ((الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ)).
