al-Hasan: the sincere. [And they perform the prayer and give the alms], meaning: they acknowledge them. [And that is the upright religion], in the interpretation of al-Suddi: the straight path.
الْحَسَنِ: الْمِخْلِصُ ﴿وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاة﴾ أَيْ: يُقِرُّونَ بِهَا ﴿وَذَلِكَ دِينُ الْقيمَة﴾ تَفْسِير السّديّ: الْملَّة المستقيمة
