"In extended columns" (Al-Humazah: 9). Qatadah said: It has columns that are extended with them.
﴿فِي عمد ممددة﴾ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ: لَهَا عَمَدٌ هِيَ مُمَدَّدَةٌ بِهَا.
