"So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [al-nahr]." The interpretation of al-Hasan says: Pray the Eid prayer for your Lord on the Day of Sacrifice, and offer the sacrifice on the Day of Sacrifice. "Indeed, your enemy [shani'uka]"—the one who hates you—"is the cut-off one [al-abtar]." Al-Kalbi said: "The Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] exited the mosque while al-As ibn Wa'il was entering the mosque, and they met at the door. The Quraysh said to al-As: 'Who did you encounter at the door?' He said: 'That cut-off one.'"
