As for those who interpreted it as 'it nearly turns white from its yellowness':

714 - Muhammad ibn Sa'd ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn 'Atiyyah al-'Awfi informed me in what he wrote to me, my father narrated to me, my uncle al-Husayn narrated to me from his father from his grandfather from Ibn 'Abbas who said: "'Bright its color' is intense in yellowness; it nearly turns white from its yellowness."

As for those who interpreted it as intensity of blackness:

715 - My father narrated to us, Muslim ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Nuh ibn Qays narrated to us, Abu Raja' Muhammad ibn Sayf al-Huddani narrated to us from al-Hasan regarding His saying: "A yellow cow, bright its color," he said: "The bright is black, intense in blackness."

His saying: "It pleases the onlookers"

716 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad ibn Talhah narrated to us, Asbat ibn Nasr narrated to us from al-Suddi: "It pleases the onlookers," he said: "It delights the onlookers." And something similar to that was narrated from Abu al-'Aliyah, Qatadah, and al-Rabi' ibn Anas.

717 - Abu 'Abd Allah al-Tehrani informed me in what he wrote to me, Isma'il ibn 'Abd al-Karim al-San'ani reported to us from 'Abd al-Samad ibn Ma'qil that he heard Wahb saying: "It pleases the onlookers; if you look at its skin, it is imagined to you that the rays of the sun come out from its skin."

His saying: "They said, 'Call upon your Lord for us to clarify for us what it is'"

718 - Muhammad ibn Sa'd ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn 'Atiyyah al-'Awfi informed me in what he wrote to me, my father narrated to me, my uncle al-Husayn narrated to me from his father from his grandfather from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Abbas: "They said, 'Call upon your Lord for us to clarify for us what it is'... they said, 'Call upon your Lord for us'—meaning the people of the city—'to clarify for us what it is.'"

His saying: "Indeed, the cows appear similar to us"

719 - al-Fadl ibn Shadhan al-Muqri' narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Isa—meaning Abu 'Abd Allah al-Asbahani the reciter—narrated to us, Mu'alla ibn Asad al-'Ammi narrated to us, Bakkar ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Qays narrated to us from 'Ikrimah that he heard him reading: "Indeed, the cows (al-baqir) appear similar to us." 'Ikrimah said: "Al-baqir is a plural."
