The Third Aspect:

829 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, from Abu Ja'far, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah, regarding His saying: "Yes, whoever earns evil and his sin has encompassed him," he said: The major sin that entails [punishment]. He said: And similar to this was narrated from al-Hasan in the narration of Salam ibn Miskin, and from Mujahid, Qatadah, and al-Rabi' ibn Anas.

His saying: "Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."

830 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Sa'id Abu Ghassan informed us, Salamah narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr or 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas: "Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally," meaning abiding forever.

Similar to this was narrated from al-Suddi.

His saying: "And those who have believed and done righteous deeds"

831 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Isma'il ibn Abi Dirar narrated to us, Isma'il ibn Abi Uways informed us, 'Abd Allah ibn Nafi' al-Sa'igh narrated to me, from 'Asim ibn 'Umar, from Zayd ibn Aslam: "And those who have believed and done righteous deeds, those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally," he said: The Messenger of Allah and his companions.

His saying: "Those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally"

832 - Muhammad ibn Yahya Abu Ghassan narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr or 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas: "And those who have believed and done righteous deeds, those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally," meaning whoever believes in what you have disbelieved in and performs what you have abandoned of His religion, for them is Paradise, abiding therein. He is informing them that the reward for both good and evil is constant for its people, having no end to it.

His saying: "And when We took the covenant of the Children of Israel, [saying], 'Do not worship except Allah'"

833 - And through the same chain from Ibn 'Abbas, he then said, rebuking them: "And when We took the covenant of the Children of Israel," meaning your covenant: "Do not worship except Allah."
