His saying: "Then they learn from them"
1013 - My father narrated to us, al-Nufayli narrated to us, Yunus ibn Rashid narrated to us, from Khusayf, from Mujahid and 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "The two angels teach the people dissension."
1014 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad ibn Talhah narrated to us, Asbat ibn Nasr narrated to us, from al-Suddi, who said: "If the angels, among themselves, taught it to a human, and he then practiced and acted upon it, it became magic."
His saying: "That by which they cause separation between a man and his wife"
1015 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far narrated to us, from Qatadah: "Then they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife," and their separation consists of keeping each of them away from his partner and making each of them hateful to his partner.
1016 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Safwan narrated to us, al-Walid narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Bashir informed us, from Qatadah, regarding the saying of Allah: "Then they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife," [meaning] they are taken away—one of them from his partner—and they turn one of them against his partner.
His saying: "But they do not harm anyone with it except by the permission of Allah"
[The First Aspect]
1017 - Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Sulayman narrated to us, Salam ibn Miskin narrated to us, who said: "I heard al-Hasan say regarding His saying: 'But they do not harm anyone with it except by the permission of Allah': 'This magic does not harm except the one who enters into it.'"
The Second Aspect:
1018 - Al-Hasan ibn Ahmad narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bashar narrated to us, Surur ibn al-Mughirah narrated to me, from 'Abbad ibn Mansur, from al-Hasan regarding His saying: "But they do not harm anyone with it except by the permission of Allah," he said: "Yes, whomever Allah wills, He gives them power over him, and whomever Allah does not will, He does not give them power. They are not able to harm anyone except by the permission of Allah, as Allah, Blessed and Exalted, has said."
His saying: "Except by the permission of Allah"
1019 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Isa narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq: "But they do not harm anyone with it except by the permission of Allah," [meaning] by Allah letting things take their course between him and what he intended."
قوله: فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا
١٠١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا النُّفَيْلِي ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ وَعِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: الْمَلَكَانِ يُعَلِّمَانِ النَّاسَ الْفُرْقَةَ.
١٠١٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ ثنا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَالَ: إِنَّ الْمَلائِكَةَ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُمْ إِذَا عَلَّمَتْهُ الإِنْسَ فَصَنَعَ وَعَمِلَ بِهِ كَانَ سِحْرًا.
قَوْلُهُ: مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ
١٠١٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ ثنا آدَمُ ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ وَتَفْرِيقُهُمْ أَنْ يُمْسِكُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا عَنْ صَاحِبِهِ ويُبَغِّضُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا إِلَى صَاحِبِهِ.
١٠١٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا صَفْوَانُ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ يُؤْخَذَانَ أَحَدُهُمَا عَنْ صَاحِبِهِ وَيَعْطِفَانِ وَاحِدًا مِنْهُمَا إِلَى صَاحِبِهِ.
قَوْلُهُ: وَمَا هُمْ بِضَارِّينَ بِهِ من أحد إلا بإذن الله

١٠١٧ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا سَلامُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ: فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَمَا هُمْ بِضَارِّينَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: لَا يَضُرُّ هَذَا السِّحْرُ إِلا مَنْ دَخَلَ فِيهِ.
الْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
١٠١٨ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنِي سرور ابن الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَوْلُهُ: وَمَا هم بضارين به من أحد إِلا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: نَعَمْ مَنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ سَلَّطَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَشَأِ اللَّهُ لَمْ يُسَلِّطْ، وَلا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ ضَرَّ أَحَدٍ إِلا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى.
قَوْلُهُ: إِلا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ
١٠١٩ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ثنا سَلَمَةُ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ:
وَمَا هُمْ بِضَارِّينَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ أَيْ بِتَخْلِيَةِ اللَّهِ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ مَا أَرَادَ.
