His statement: "I will let him enjoy a little"
1226 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Musa narrated to us, Ibn Abi Za'idah reported, Israel reported, from Khusayf, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, 'Ikrimah, and Mujahid regarding: "I will let him enjoy a little"—he said: I will provide for him a little.
His statement: "Then I will compel him to the punishment of the Fire, and wretched is the destination"
1227 - Al-Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih regarding His statement: "Then I will compel him to the punishment of the Fire, and wretched is the destination"—he said: Then the destination of the disbeliever is the Fire. Ibn Abi Najih said: I heard this from 'Ikrimah, then I presented it to Mujahid and he did not object to it.
His statement, the Exalted: "And when Abraham was raising the foundations"
1228 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Minjab narrated to us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah reported, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His statement: "the foundations"—he said: The base, the base of the House.
1229 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-'Arzami narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Thabit narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Harithah ibn Mudarrib, from 'Ali, he said: A cloud was created for them in which there was a head that spoke, and it was the Sakinah (tranquility/divine presence). It said: "Mark out for me" or "Mark out around me." So they marked out the House, and that is His statement: "And when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and Ishmael, [saying], 'Our Lord, accept [this] from us.'"
1230 - Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us, 'Uthman narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahid narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, from Mujahid regarding His statement: "And when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House"—he said: The foundations are in the seventh earth.
1231 - My father narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Rafi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahhab ibn Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Mu'min ibn Khalid, from 'Ilba' ibn Ahmar: That Dhu al-Qarnayn came to Makkah and found Abraham and Ishmael building the foundations of the House from five mountains. He said to them: "What do you have to do with my land?" They said: "We are two servants under command; we have been ordered to build this Ka'bah." He said: "Then bring forth the evidence for what you claim." Five rams stood up and said: "We bear witness that Abraham and Ishmael are two servants under command; they have been ordered to build the Ka'bah." He said: "I am satisfied and I submit." Then he departed.
1232 - My father narrated to me, Nu'aym ibn Hammad narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Thawr narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from Ayyub, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas: "And when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House"—he said: He raised the foundations which were the foundations of the House before that.
