And by the same chain, from Sa'id regarding His saying: "The Accepting of repentance," meaning: upon whomever repents.

His saying: "Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers, upon them is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind."

[The First View]

1455 - Al-Hasan ibn Ahmad narrated to us, Musa ibn Muhallim narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi narrated to us, 'Abbad ibn Mansur narrated to us, he said: I asked al-Hakam about His saying: "Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers," he said: And every disbeliever.

1456 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far narrated to us, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas, from Abu al-'Aliyah: "Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers, upon them is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind," meaning by "all of mankind": the believers.

Abu Ja'far said: And al-Rabi' narrated to me, he said: I heard Abu al-'Aliyah saying: The disbeliever will be made to stand on the Day of Resurrection, then Allah will curse him, then the angels will curse him, then all of mankind will curse him. A similar statement was narrated from Qatadah regarding the saying of Abu al-'Aliyah.

The Second View:

1457 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad ibn Talhah narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi: As for "the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind," it is that two believers do not curse one another, nor two disbelievers, such that one of them says: "May Allah curse the wrongdoer," except that this curse becomes binding upon the disbeliever because he is a wrongdoer; therefore, everyone among the creation curses him.

His saying: "Abiding eternally therein, the punishment will not be lightened for them."

1458 - 'Isam ibn al-Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far narrated to us, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah: "Abiding eternally therein," meaning: in the Fire, in the curse; "the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved." A similar statement was narrated from al-Rabi' ibn Anas.

His saying: "Nor will they be reprieved."

And by the same chain, from Abu al-'Aliyah regarding His saying: "Nor will they be reprieved," he said: It is like His saying: "This is a Day they will not speak, nor will it be permitted for them to offer excuses." A similar statement was narrated from al-Rabi' ibn Anas.
