and there is no power except by Allah; the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden; in His hand is all good; He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent. Whoever says it, O Uthman, when he wakes up ten times, he is granted six qualities: As for the first of them, he is guarded from Iblis and his soldiers. As for the second, he is given a qintar (a massive measure) of reward. As for the third, a degree is raised for him in Paradise. As for the fourth, he marries one of the Houris. As for the fifth, twelve angels attend him. As for the sixth, he is given the reward of one who has read the Quran, the Torah, the Gospel, and the Psalms. And along with this, O Uthman, he has the reward of one who has performed Hajj and his Hajj was accepted, and performed Umrah and his Umrah was accepted. And if he dies on that day, he is sealed with the seal of the martyrs.'

18406 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them, regarding His saying: 'To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth,' he said: 'Its treasuries.'

His saying, the Exalted: 'And they have not appraised Allah with true appraisal.'

18406 - From Sa'id ibn Jubayr, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: 'The Jews spoke about the attributes of the Lord and said what they did not know and what they did not see, so Allah sent down: "And they have not appraised Allah with true appraisal."

18407 - From al-Hasan, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: 'The Jews looked into the creation of the heavens, the earth, and the angels, and when they deviated, they began to measure Him [by their own reasoning], so Allah sent down: "And they have not appraised Allah with true appraisal."

18408 - From al-Rabi' ibn Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: 'When [the verse] "His Kursi (Footstool) extends over the heavens and the earth" was revealed, they said: "O Messenger of Allah, if this is the Kursi, then what about the Throne (Arsh)?" So Allah sent down: "And they have not appraised Allah with true appraisal."

18409 - From Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, recited this verse one day upon the pulpit: "And they have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand." And the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was saying like this with his hand, moving it back and forth, "The Lord glorifies Himself: I am the Almighty, I am the All-Proud, I am the Generous." The pulpit shook with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, until we said it would surely fall with him.'
