Surah Fussilat
41
His saying, the Almighty: "And woe to the polytheists."
18447 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, regarding His saying: "And woe to the polytheists who do not give Zakah," he said: They do not bear witness that there is no god but Allah. And regarding His saying: "For them is an uninterrupted reward," he said: Unreduced.
His saying, the Almighty: "And He measured therein its sustenance."
18448 - From 'Ikrimah regarding His saying: "And He measured therein its sustenance," he said: He determined in every land something that is not suitable in any other.
His saying, the Almighty: "Come [both of you]."
18449 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, regarding His saying: "Come [both of you] (i'tiya)," he said: Give. And regarding His saying: "Come [both of you] (i'tiya)," [he said:] Give to us.
His saying, the Almighty: "But as for Thamud, We guided them."
18450 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, regarding His saying: "But as for Thamud, We guided them," he said: We clarified for them.
His saying, the Almighty: "They will be driven [in ranks]."
18451 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, regarding His saying: "They will be driven [in ranks] (yuz'un)," he said: They will be pushed.
His saying, the Almighty: "And you were not covering yourselves, lest your hearing, your sights, and your skins would testify against you."
18452 - From Mu'awiyah ibn Haydah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "You will be gathered here—and he gestured with his hand toward Al-Sham—on foot and riding, on your faces."
