19045 - From ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib regarding His saying: "except those of the right," he said: They are the children of the Muslims.

His (Exalted is He) saying: "asking one another"

19046 - From ʿAmr ibn Dīnār, he said: I heard ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Zubayr recite: "In gardens, asking one another about the criminals: 'O so-and-so, what led you into Saqar?'" ʿAmr said: Luqayṭ informed me, he said: I heard Ibn al-Zubayr say: I heard ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb recite it in that way.

His (Exalted is He) saying: "the intercession of the intercessors"

19047 - From Ibn ʿAbbās regarding "until there came to us the certainty (al-yaqīn)," he said: It is death.

His (Exalted is He) saying: "fled from a lion (qaswarah)"

19048 - From Abū Mūsā al-Ashʿarī regarding His saying: "fled from a qaswarah," he said: They are the archers, the hunting men.

19049 - From Ibn ʿAbbās, he said: The qaswarah are the archer men, the hunting men.

19050 - From Abū Jamrah, he said: I asked Ibn ʿAbbās, and he said: The qaswarah is the lion. [Ibn ʿAbbās] said: I do not know it in the language of any of the Arabs; the lion is [also called] the band of men.

19051 - From Ibn ʿAbbās regarding His saying: "from a qaswarah," he said: It is the lion in the tongue of the Arabs, and in the tongue of the Abyssinians, [it is] qaswarah.

His (Exalted is He) saying: "He is the source of righteousness and the source of forgiveness"

19052 - From the Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace), he recited this verse: "He is the source of righteousness and the source of forgiveness," and he said: Your Lord has said: I am the rightful One to be feared; so whoever does not set up a god alongside Me, then I am the rightful One to forgive him.
