than his own wealth." They said: "O Messenger of Allāh, there is not one of us except that his wealth is more beloved to him than the wealth of his heir." He said: "You have nothing of your wealth except what you have eaten and consumed, or worn and worn out, or given and passed on."
His statement, the Exalted: "When the earth is crushed with crushing upon crushing."
19281 - On the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, may Allāh be pleased with them both, regarding His statement: "When the earth is crushed with crushing upon crushing," he said: It is its shaking.
19282 - On the authority of al-Rabīʿ ibn Anas, may Allāh be pleased with him, he said: The earth and the mountains will be carried, and some will be crushed against others.
His statement, the Exalted: "And the angels come, row upon row."
19283 - On the authority of al-Ḍaḥḥāk regarding His statement: "And the angels come, row upon row," he said: The inhabitants of the heavens will come, every heaven in a row.
19284 - On the authority of Ibn Masʿūd, may Allāh be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of Allāh, may Allāh bless him and grant him peace, said: "Hell will be brought on that day, having seventy thousand reins; with every rein there will be seventy thousand angels pulling it."
His statement, the Exalted: "Man will remember." His statement: "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead for my life."
19285 - On the authority of al-Ḍaḥḥāk, may Allāh be pleased with him, regarding His statement: "Man will remember," he said: He intends repentance. And regarding His statement: "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead for my life," he says: I worked in the world for my life in the Hereafter.
His statement, the Exalted: "So on that day, none will punish as He punishes, and none will bind as He binds."
19286 - On the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, may Allāh be pleased with them both, regarding His statement: "So on that day, none will punish as He punishes, and none will bind as He binds," he said: No one will punish with Allāh's punishment, and no one will bind with Allāh's binding.
His statement, the Exalted: "O soul at peace, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him]."
