مجلد 10 · صفحة 52[سورة يس (٣٦) : الآيات ١٨ إلى ١٩]

الترجمة · EN

18050 - From Shu'ayb al-Jaba'i, he said: The names of the two messengers referred to in the saying: "When We sent to them two" were Sham'un (Simon) and Yuhanna (John). The name of the third was Bulus (Paul).

His saying, the Exalted: "They said, 'Indeed, we consider you a bad omen,'" up to his saying: "If you are reminded?"

18051 - From Qatada (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding his saying: "They said, 'Indeed, we consider you a bad omen,'" he said: They say, 'If any evil befalls us, it is because of you.' 'If you do not desist, we will surely stone you.' They said: "Your omen is with you," meaning your deeds are with you. "If you are reminded?" He says: 'If we remind you of Allah, do you treat us as a bad omen?'

His saying, the Exalted: "And there came from the farthest end of the city a man, running."

18052 - From Ibn 'Abbas regarding "And there came from the farthest end of the city a man, running," he said: He is Habib al-Najjar.

18053 - From Ibn 'Abbas, he said: The name of the companion of Ya-Sin is Habib, and leprosy had progressed in him.

18054 - From Qatada regarding his saying: "And there came from the farthest end of the city a man, running," he said: It reached me that he was a man who used to worship Allah in a cave, and his name was Habib. He heard of these people whom 'Isa (Jesus) sent to the people of Antioch, so he came to them and said: 'Do you ask for a reward?' They replied: 'No.' So he said to his people: "O my people, follow the messengers. Follow those who do not ask of you [any] payment, and they are [rightly] guided," until he reached [the part of the verse]: "So listen to me." He said: Then they stoned him with stones, and he began to say: "My Lord, guide my people, for they do not know of what my Lord has forgiven me," until he reached [the part of the verse]: "It was not but one shout." He said: They were not given respite after killing him until a single shout overtook them, and behold, they were extinguished.

18055 - From 'Umar ibn al-Hakam regarding his saying: "And there came from the farthest end of the city a man, running," he said: It reached us that he was a fuller (a cleaner of cloth).

His saying, the Exalted: "It was said, 'Enter Paradise.' He said, 'I wish my people knew,'"

18056 - From Mujahid regarding his saying: "It was said, 'Enter Paradise,'" he said: Paradise became incumbent for him.
