تفسير ابن أبي حاتم
مجلد 11 · صفحة 123

الترجمة · EN

2051: And likewise: 2: Tafsir Mujahid: (1/106).

2052: Al-Maysir (Gambling): 3: Ibn Kathir (3/169), al-Manthur (2/319), al-'Ilal (3/24), and al-Jawami' (538).

2053: Similar to that: 4: Narrated by Ibn 'Adi in "al-Kamil": (1/216).

391: 2056: Maysir: 1: Al-Qurtubi said: Maysir is the gambling of the Arabs using azlam (divining arrows).

Ibn Abbas said: A man in the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic era) would gamble with another man for his family and wealth, so whichever of them defeated the other would take his wealth and family, and thus the verse was revealed.

2058: With knucklebones: 2: al-Manthur (2/320) and al-Kanz (40639).

392: 2062: Al-Jazur (Camel): 1: Tafsir Mujahid: (1/106).

2064: And benefits for the people: 2: Regarding the Almighty's saying: "And benefits for the people," al-Qurtubi said:

As for the wine, it refers to the profit of trade, as they used to import it from al-Sham (the Levant) at a low price and sell it in the Hijaz at a profit. They would not consider haggling over it, so the seeker of wine would buy the wine at a high price.

This is the most authentic of what has been said regarding its benefits. It has also been said regarding its benefits: that it digests food, strengthens weakness, assists in sexual intercourse, makes the miser generous, makes the coward brave, clears the complexion, in addition to other forms of enjoyment from it.

393: 2068: They spend: 1: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (1/256).

2069: Your family: 2: The previous source.

2070: Tawus: 3: It is narrated from Abu Hurayrah that he said: A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have a dinar." He said: "Spend it on yourself." He said: "I have another." He said: "Spend it on your family." He said: "I have another." He said: "Spend it on your children." He said: "I have another." He said: "You are the most discerning."

Narrated by al-Bayhaqi (7/466, 477), al-Humaydi (1176), and Sharh al-Sunnah (6/193).

394: 2076: Persistence: 1: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (1/256).

2077: The world: 2: The previous source.

395: 2081: The Reformer: 1: Al-Qurtubi said: This mixing is like mixing the same with the same, such as dates with dates. Abu 'Ubayd said:

Mixing with the orphans: It is that one of them has wealth and it is difficult for his guardian to separate his food from his own, and he finds no way but to mix it with his family's expenses. He takes from the orphan's wealth what he deems sufficient by estimation and puts it with his family's expenses. This involves increase and decrease, and thus this abrogating verse came with the concession regarding it.

396: 2086: Islam: 1: Aisha—may Allah be pleased with her—said: "I indeed hate for the orphan's wealth to be with me separately, to the point that I mix his food with my food and his drink with my drink."

Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (1/257).

397: 2095: As illicit lovers: 1: Surah al-Ma'idah, verse: 5.

2096: Believes: 2: Ibn Jarir said: 'Ubayd ibn Adam ibn Abi Iyas al-'Asqalani narrated to me, my father narrated to us, 'Abd al-Hamid ibn Bahram al-Fazari narrated to us, Shahr ibn Hawshab narrated, who said: I heard 'Abd Allah ibn 'Abbas say: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade all categories of women except for those who were believing emigrant women, and he prohibited every religion other than the religion of Islam."
