: 2361: The guardian: 3: Al-Qurtubi said: They differed regarding a man who is in seclusion with a woman but does not have intercourse with her until he separates from her. The Kufans and Malik said: He is liable for the entire dowry, and she must observe the 'Iddah, based on the report of Ibn Mas'ud who said: "The Rightly-Guided Caliphs ruled regarding whoever closes a door or lowers a curtain for her, that she is entitled to inheritance and must observe the 'Iddah."

446: 2365: Among you: 1: Abu Bakr ibn Mardawayh said: Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Musa ibn Ishaq narrated to us, 'Uqbah ibn Mukram narrated to us, Yunus ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn al-Walid al-Rassafi narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Ubayd, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talib that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

"A biting time shall come upon the people, when the believer will bite upon what is in his hands and forget the virtue."

: 2370: The prayers: 2: Allah the Almighty commands the preservation of the prayers at their times, the guarding of their boundaries, and their performance, as it is established in the Sahihayn from Ibn Mas'ud who said: I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: Which deed is best? He said:

"The prayer at its time." I said, then what? He said:

"Jihad in the path of Allah." I said, then what? He said:

"Good treatment of parents." He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, dictated them to me, and had I asked for more, he would have added for me.
