489: 2593: And what is behind them: 1: Ibn Mas'ud said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The greatest verse in the Qur'an is: 'Allah—there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence.'" Reported by Ibn Kathir (1/454) and al-Kanz (2539, 2560).

490: 2598: Allah: 1: From Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Greatest Name of Allah, if He is called upon by it, He answers, is in three Surahs: al-Baqarah, Al 'Imran, and Taha." Reported by al-Hakim (1/505), al-Tabarani (8/282), Ibn Kathir (1/289, 454, 312, 5/363), al-Majma' (10/156), al-Kanz (1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945), al-Shajari (2/45), Mushkil (1/63), and al-Manthur (1/325, 2/14, 334).

: 2602: Under the Throne: 2: From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Surah al-Baqarah contains a verse that is the mistress of the verses of the Qur'an; it is not recited in a house containing a devil but that he departs from it: the Verse of the Throne (Ayat al-Kursi)." Authentic (Sahih). Reported by al-Hakim (1/560, 2/259), who said: Its chain of narration is authentic, and by al-Tabarani (10/106, 323), al-Manthur (1/326), al-Kanz (2557), and Ibn Kathir (1/454).

492: 2605: Preserving them: 1: And from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Everything has a pinnacle, and the pinnacle of the Qur'an is Surah al-Baqarah, and in it is a verse that is the mistress of the verses of the Qur'an: the Verse of the Throne."
