الترجمة · EN

: 2675: For the people: 2: His saying: "And that We may make you a sign for the people," meaning: a proof of the Resurrection.

: 2678: We shall assemble them (nunsizuha): 3: Al-Hakim narrated in his Mustadrak from the hadith of Nafi' ibn Abi Nu'aym, from Isma'il ibn Hakim, from Kharijah ibn Zayd ibn Thabit, from his father: that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited: "How We assemble them (nunsizuha)" with a zay.

Narrated by: (2/234). Al-Hakim said: "The chain of narration is authentic, and they [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] did not record it."

507: 2688: The dead: 1: I say: The hadith narrated by Al-Bukhari regarding this verse is: Ahmad ibn Salih narrated to us, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, Yunus informed me, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Salamah and Sa'id, from Abu Hurayrah—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"We are more entitled to doubt than Abraham when he said: 'My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead.' He said: 'Do you not believe?' He said: 'Yes, but that my heart may be at ease.'"

Authentic. Muttafaq 'alayh (agreed upon). Narrated by Al-Bukhari (4/179, 6/39), Muslim (p. 133, 1839), Ibn Majah (h/4026), Ahmad (2/326), Mushkil (1/134), Sharh al-Sunnah (1/114), Al-Mishkah (5705), Ibn 'Asakir in "Al-Tarikh" (2/155, 163), Al-Kanz (32291, 35570), Manahil al-Safa (22), Al-Manthur (1/335), and Al-Sahihah (1867).
