Hammad—meaning Ibn Sulayman—narrated to us from Ibrahim, from Al-Aswad, from 'Aisha, who said: A dabb (spiny-tailed lizard) was brought to the Messenger of Allah, but he did not eat it, nor did he forbid it. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, shall we feed it to the poor?" He said: "Do not feed them what you do not eat."
It was narrated by Ahmad (6/105, 123, 144), Al-Bayhaqi (9/325), Al-Manthur (2/51), Al-Kanz (16299), and Al-Majma' (3/113, 4/37), and he attributed it to Al-Tabarani in "Al-Awsat," and its narrators are reliable.

It was also narrated by Muslim in (The Mosques, chapter: The prohibition of speech in prayer) and narrated by Al-Tirmidhi (H/2987). He said: This is a Hasan Gharib Sahih hadith.
