1647: 8738: And be generous: 1: Tafsir 'Abd al-Razzaq: (1/230).

1648: 8750: They prostrate: 1: The majority of scholars hold that this is a place of prostration for the reciter. They have differed regarding the number of prostrations in the Qur'an; the maximum stated is fifteen.

The first of them is the conclusion of "Al-A'raf", and the last of them is the conclusion of "Al-'Alaq". Some scholars have added the prostration of "Al-Hijr", based on His saying, the Almighty: "And be among those who prostrate" (Al-Hijr: 98), according to the explanation that will follow, if Allah the Almighty wills. Thus, it would be sixteen.

1649: 9486: Al-Anfal: 1: Al-Qurtubi said: It is Medinan, revealed at Badr according to Al-Hasan, 'Ikrimah, Jabir, and 'Ata'. Ibn Abbas said: It is Medinan except for seven verses, from His saying, the Almighty: "And remember when those who disbelieved plotted against you" (Al-Anfal: 30) until the end of the seven verses.

: 8754: The spoils: 2: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (2/282).

: 8755: I said: 3: Plate number "222" was dropped from the original, which contained the end of Surah "Al-A'raf" and the beginning of Surah "Al-Anfal". I completed it from Tafsir Surah "Al-Anfal" (1/1), edited by Dr. 'Iyadah Ayyub al-Kubaysi (academic thesis).

: 8755: Al-Anfal: 4: Authentic. Narrated by Muslim in (Al-Jihad, hadith 34), Ahmad (1/186), Al-Bayhaqi (6/291), Al-Kanz (4386), Al-Manthur (3/159), Ibn Kathir (3/547), Al-Tabari (9/117), and Ma'ani (3/279).

1650: 8756: For you: 1: Authentic. Narrated by Muslim in (The Virtues of the Companions, Chapter: The Virtue of Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, and Al-Jihad and Campaigns, Chapter: "Al-Anfal"), Abu Dawud in (Al-Jihad, Chapter: Regarding the Spoils, hadith 2740), Al-Tirmidhi (hadith 3097) who said: "This is a hasan sahih (good, authentic) hadith", Al-Hakim (2/132), Ahmad (1/178), Al-Manthur (3/158), and Ibn Kathir (3/547).
