: 10083. Dinuhu (His religion): 2: Narrated by Ahmad (5/366), Ibn Kathir (4/81), al-Shajari (2/169), al-Manthur (3/232), and al-Qurtubi (8/127).

1789: 10085. Al-Kitab (The Book): 1: Imam Ahmad said: Waki' narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amr ibn Murrah narrated to us from his father, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Thawban who said: When what was revealed concerning gold and silver was revealed, they said: "Which wealth should we acquire?" He said: "Umar." So I went to find out for you. I was placed on a camel and caught up with him while I was following his tracks.

He said: "O Messenger of Allah, which wealth should we acquire?" He said:

"A grateful heart, a remembering tongue, and a wife who helps one of you in the affairs of the Hereafter."
