And among them are those who are given so that their Islam may be improved and their hearts strengthened, just as on the day of Hunayn he also gave a group of the leaders of the Tulaqa' (those who embraced Islam upon the conquest of Mecca) and their nobles one hundred camels, and he said: "I give to a man, while another is dearer to me than he, for fear that Allah might cast him on his face into the Fire on the Day of Resurrection."

: 10384. That: 3: Malik said: It refers to the slave who is emancipated, and their Wala' (patronage rights) belongs to the Muslims, and likewise if the Imam emancipates them. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, has prohibited the selling of Wala' and its gifting.
He, peace be upon him, said: "Wala' is a bond like the bond of kinship; it is not sold and not gifted."
