1198: 6758: Wrath (sakhat): 1: Abu Dawud said: We were told by Muhammad ibn Rafi', we were told by Ibrahim ibn 'Umar al-San'ani, who said: I heard al-Nu'man—that is, Ibn Abi Shaybah al-Jundi—say, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) who said: "Every intoxicant is khamr (wine), and every intoxicant is forbidden. Whoever drinks an intoxicant, his prayer will be diminished for forty mornings. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance, but if he returns a fourth time, it will be incumbent upon Allah to give him to drink from tinat al-khabal." It was said: "What is tinat al-khabal, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "The discharge of the people of the Fire. And whoever gives it to a child who does not know its lawful from its unlawful, it is incumbent upon Allah to give him to drink from tinat al-khabal."
