The Almighty says, informing about Ya'qub (peace be upon him), that he commanded his sons when he provided them with their provisions along with their brother Benjamin to Egypt, that they should not all enter through one gate, but rather should enter through separate gates.

"Adhhana" is used for emphasis (intensification), as if he called out repeatedly, "O you caravan (al-'ir)!" And the 'ir refers to what is used for transport from donkeys, camels, and mules.

2173: 11807: Camel load (haml ba'ir): 1: Al-Qurtubi said in the interpretation of this verse: The ba'ir here is the camel according to the majority of exegetes. It is also said that it is the donkey, which is a dialect of some Arabs, as stated by Mujahid and chosen by him. Mujahid said: The za'im (guarantor) is the announcer who said, "O you caravan!" And the za'im, kafil (surety), hamil (bearer), damin (guarantor), and qabil (sponsor) are all the same. And the za'im is the leader.
