311, 20/263), Ibn Kathir (8/558), Ithaf (5/305, 6/4, 273), and al-Dhahabi (138, 235).

1461: 8355: Punishment: 1: Al-Manthur (2/147), al-Tabarani (18/140), and al-Majma' (1/103), and he attributed it to al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir". Its narrators are trustworthy, except that al-Hasan practiced tadlis (omission of a narrator in the chain) and used the 'an-an' (narrating using 'from') method.

8358: Our fathers: 2: See, Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (2/208).

8360: They know: 3: See, Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (2/208).

1462: 8361: With justice: 1: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (2/208).

8364: A believer: 2: Surah al-Taghabun, verse 2.

8365: A disbeliever: 3: Tafsir al-Thawri: (p. 112).

1463: 8366: You return: 1: Ibn Kathir said in the interpretation of this verse: "He says: He began and created them while they were nothing, then they passed away, then He will bring them back. Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam said: Just as He began you the first time, He will return you in the end. Abu Ja'far ibn Jarir chose this view and supported it with what he narrated from the hadith of Sufyan al-Thawri and Shu'bah ibn al-Hajjaj, both from al-Mughirah ibn al-Nu'man, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) stood among us to deliver an admonition and said: 'O people, you will be gathered to Allah barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised (as We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.')"

Authentic. Agreed upon. Narrated by al-Bukhari (6/69), Muslim in (Al-Jannah, H/58), al-Darimi (2/326), al-Qurtubi (6/276, 11/152, 348), and al-Tabari (8/117).
