"No son of Adam fills a vessel worse than his stomach. It is sufficient for the son of Adam to have some morsels that support his back. If he must do so, then one-third for his food, one-third for his drink, and one-third for his breath." Authentic. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (no. 2380), who said: This is a hasan sahih (good and authentic) hadith.
