8491: The Rooster (al-dik): 3: The previous source.

: 8492: Chapter (bab): 4: The previous source.

1484: 8494: Slips (saqat): 1: al-Manthur (3/461).

: 8498: The cause of Allah (sabil Allah): 2: Ithaf (8/564, 565) and al-Manthur (3/88).

1485: 8499: For you (lakum): 1: Narrated by al-Hakim (2/320). He said: "This is a sound hadith according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs (al-Bukhari and Muslim), though they did not record it."

: 8500: Their good deeds (hasanatihim): 2: Similar to it. Ithaf (8/565) and al-Manthur (3/78).

: 8502: Paradise (al-jannah): 3: Tafsir Ibn Kathir (2/217).

1486: 8507: Paradise (al-jannah): 1: Ibn Kathir said: "Allah knows best regarding the authenticity of these elevated reports (marfu'a)." (2/217).

1487: 8510: The eyes (al-'uyun): 1: Tafsir Mujahid (1/237).

: 8511: Paradise (al-jannah): 2: Al-Qurtubi said: "It is said: When the people of al-A'raf move toward Paradise, the people of the Fire will covet (to reach it), so they will say: 'O our Lord, we have relatives in Paradise, so permit us to see them and speak to them.' But the people of Paradise will not recognize them due to the darkness of their faces. They will say: 'Pour upon us some water or some of what Allah has provided you' (Quran 7:50). This clarifies that the son of Adam cannot dispense with food and drink, even if he is in torment."

1489: 8528: Al-A'raf: 1: Hudhayfah said: "The people of al-A'raf are a people whose good deeds were equivalent, so their good deeds fell short of [granting them entry into] Paradise, and their sins fell short of [sending them into] the Fire. So they were placed on al-A'raf, knowing the people by their marks. When the judgment of the people between the servants is concluded, permission will be granted to them, and they will come to Adam and say: 'O Adam, you are the father of humanity...' [up to the end of the] hadith." Tafsir Ibn Kathir (2/218).
