: 16602: Tihamah: 2: Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj said: Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, from Abu Hayyan, from Abu Zur'ah, from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: I memorized a hadith from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, which I have not forgotten since: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying:
"Indeed, the first of the signs to emerge is the rising of the sun from its west, and the emergence of the Beast to the people in the forenoon. Whichever of them occurs before its companion, the other follows it closely."
