تفسير ابن أبي حاتم
مجلد 13 · صفحة 142

الترجمة · EN

: 17211: Allah: 2: The saying of the Almighty: "And let them not turn you away from the verses of Allah after they have been revealed to you," meaning: from their statements, their lies, and their harm; do not turn your attention toward them, and proceed with your command and your affair.

3028: 17118: You shall return: 1: Al-Zajjaj said: "His face" is in the accusative case as an exception. If it were in other than the Qur'an, it would be "except His face" in the nominative case, meaning: everything other than His Face is perishing.

3029: 17119: The Spider (Al-Ankabut): 1: It is entirely Meccan according to the opinion of Al-Hasan, Ikrimah, 'Ata, and Jabir. It is entirely Medinan according to one of the two opinions of Ibn 'Abbas and Qatadah. In their other opinion—which is also the opinion of Yahya ibn Salam—it is Meccan except for ten verses from its beginning, for they were revealed in Medina concerning the affair of those who were Muslims in Mecca. Ali ibn Abi Talib—may Allah be pleased with him—said: It was revealed between Mecca and Medina, and it is sixty-nine verses.

3030: 17128: The Prophet: 1: This is how it appears in the "original" (manuscript)—see, Al-Manthur: (6/451).

: 17128: A liar: 2: It is mentioned in the authentic Hadith: "The most severely tested of people are the prophets, then the righteous, then the next best and the next best." Narrated by Al-Hakim (3/343), Al-Kanz (6780, 6781, 6830), Al-Mughni 'an Haml al-Asfar (4/28), Ithaf (8/121, 559, 560), and Bidayah (1/222, 5/237).

3031: 17129: And tranquility: 1: His saying: "And tranquility," this is how it appeared in the "original."

: 17130: Time (Al-Dahr): 2: Obliterated in the "original," and it is likely in the "original" as "and they remained for a period."
